Packer Penetrators for Dual String Packers
Product Description
When dual string packers are used, it is possible to install packer penetrators which extend completely through the packer. These are the easiest configurations to install and to work over. The secondary string should have a drift diameter of at least 2-inches, although some smaller diameters can be used with specialized designs. The penetrator can be supplied with sealing threads that are installed directly into the packer. Alternatively, a retention nut can be used below the packer, or a cross-over adapter can be used for installation flexibility. These penetrators are used with downhole connectors top and bottom. For splice-free installations, field attachable connectors are also available.
